Union Plus, which offers Capitol One credit card options to union members – including OPEIU members – has relayed information to us about the Capitol One data security incident. According to Capitol One’s overview site, no credit card account numbers or log-on credentials were stolen. The data breached was credit card application data. Union Plus recommends the resources below for information about the breach and its impact on customers.
Impacted Union Plus cardholders will receive information directly from Capital One. Customers also are encouraged to call the customer service number on the back of their Union Plus card if they need any additional assistance. We will keep you posted as we learn new information from Union Plus.\
